Who runs this blog

Hey, thanks for reading. I'm just one person behind Plain Crypto Guides For Everyday People. This is my hobby, not a company or a law firm.

How you can use my posts

Read my posts, learn a bit, and share them if you like. You can browse for free, no sign-up needed. Just don't repost my whole articles without credit.

My posts are just my opinion

I write in plain talk about wallets, taxes, stablecoins, and mining. Newsflash: staking rewards aren't free money, and the IRS wants its cut. But I'm not a tax pro or financial advisor. My words are a friend's take, not gospel.

What my posts are not
  • Not tax advice - staking rewards and gains still get reported to the IRS
  • Not financial advice - crypto can drop fast and eat your lunch, don't bet the rent
  • Not legal advice - rules on crypto vary, ask a local pro

If you leave a comment

If my blog has comments open, be cool. No scams, no abuse. I might delete stuff that's spam or rude. It's my house, my rules.

Sharing and credit

Feel free to link to my posts. If you quote a snippet, say it's from my blog. I worked hard to keep it simple, so a nod is nice.

Links and money stuff

I sometimes use affiliate links or mention products I like. If you buy through them, I might get a few cents. I'll always say so in the post. Outside links go to other sites; I don't control those.

I'm not liable for everything

You act on my posts at your own risk. The market can eat your lunch, and a wallet can fail. I've done my best to be accurate, but I'm one human, not a guarantee.

These Terms might change

I may tweak this Terms page later as the blog grows. Check back if you're worried. The version on the site is the live one.

How to reach me

Got a question or a fix? Use the contact form on the site. I read those messages, even if I'm slow. No email, just the form.
